Rikoto chuckled weakly. "That depends on your belief in chance, but... I don't think there's much chance this all can be home again." There, with Lopper between him and the trek down, it seemed doubtful he could continue. He stuck his hands in his pockets (good thing he'd had the sense to get those), and leaned sideward against the wall. "And in any case, you're never really alone. Not really," he said. "Always people around. Noisily chattering all the time. Grating, really. Being alone isn't lonely, always."

Lopper shows the sadness on her face clearly, much like the moonlight had done to bring to light her form in the darkness. "I believe there is more than a chance," she says as she drops the hand from his face only to grab him by his shoulders and shake him as if to wake him up from whatever false dream he is in. "They will return to [The World], just as you have." Looking at her hands upon his person, a scared look crosses her eyes as if she saw something that Rikoto could not see. Pulling her hands off of his person, she takes a step back into the darkness that slightly occludes her appearance. Silence befalls the two of them, heavy and sullen, the air perhaps becoming thick with tension. "Do you not want [The World] to be your home again?" Rikoto may or may not realize it, the response to this inquiry will shape his future.
