I'm ultra bored....and waiting for my laundry to dry, so I figured I'd humor my spontaneous curiosity:
Do any of you guys garden, if so, what do you grow / tend?

I grew up gardening but don't have anything at my apartment now. I used to grow everything. Figs, Squash, Oranges, carrots, parsley, basil, rosemary, oregano, garlic, onions, etc.
I've been considering getting a few hanging planters for some small amount of fresh basil.

I'd like to garden, mostly fruits and stuff that we could use, but :/ Mum is all "umg don't have time/money/etc". So it's never happened. Though we do have some flowers and stuff, that's usually a spring/summer project.

x.x I couldn't even grow those semi-indestructible bean plants they have you grow in science class. You know, the ones where all it takes is a damp paper towel and some sunlight? Yeah...plants die when I touch them.

^ ditto.
But we still try every year to plant pumpkins and flowers. We have a ridiculously large area dedicated to it.
But they're always dead or filled with weeds. :<

I don't have the patience for gardening. ^^; That's not to say I haven't given it a shot before. I help my mom out with her garden, but it's just not for me.

Oh, I once grew an orange tree. That thing was my baby. Considering it was a tree and thus grew very slowly, you know I took care of it when it reached like 6 inches.
And then we had a harsh winter and it was destroyed. ;-;

I think I would have given up on gardening completely after that.

Heh. You know, it makes me wonder whether I should actually post in this thread or whether the joke is so readily apparent that I don't need to or shouldn't.

I've been psyched about / working on my garden for months...since we didn't...really get any snow this winter.
It's like getting to be a little kid again...playing in dirt... ♥
XD
My family has a vegetable garden that I'm more-or-less in charge of this year, as well as a retired pig-pen for viney plants, as well as various flower gardens here and there. I'm so excited that things are turning green again ♥
Ryoko, Kaga, Psy...if an untimely late frost doesn't kill my pumpkin plants, maybe I should mail one to you in the fall. I wonder if you can mail them like you can mail coconuts....
